It Never Gets Easy
I’ve been writing for newspapers for more than a dozen years. Some parts of the job become routine. What never is routine is interviewing someone when they get emotional, start to choke up.

Here’s an audio piece I did about a fellow who installs stained glass church windows. He was putting in windows for a chapel at the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta.
I interviewed the guy and then edited 20 minutes of raw audio to 2 minutes. I also wrote a companion piece for the newspaper. You can read it here.
